NZASID WORKSHOP
NZASID is pleased to host a great workshop opportunity for service providers in the disability and aged care sectors: "Challenges in Meeting the Needs of Older People with Intellectual Disabilities", with Professor Chris Bigby, LaTrobe University, Melbourne.
Professor Dr Christine Bigby is the Director of postgraduate programmes, in the school of Social Work and Social policy at LaTrobe University, Melbourne. She has 18 years experience in social work practice. Her 2004 book, 'Aging with a life-long disability - A Guide to Practice, Program and Policy issues for Human Services Professionals' is the seminal work driving moves towards an integrated framework of service development.
